Mommy and the boys made a trip with Grandma down to see Baby Elijah when he was just a few days old. Micah was excited to meet the new baby (Henry was indifferent).
We hadn't known whether Elijah was a boy or a girl until he was born. So Micah and Mommy had decided to get milkshakes to celebrate his arrival - we would get vanilla if it was a girl and strawberry if it was a boy. So we toasted Elijah's birth with strawberry milkshakes!
Micah was happy to have an opportunity to hold Elijah. And we know that, since they are just six months apart, Henry and Elijah will have lots of fun playing together when they get a little older. "He's noisy," Micah observed when Elijah cried.
Later in June, the whole family made a trip down to Ohio for Baby Elijah's baptism. How cool that Josh was the one to do the baptism for his son.
It was also pretty neat when all the kiddos (including nieces and nephews from Aunt Jen's side) were listening to Uncle Josh's children's message!
Poppa's brother & sisters also made the trip, so we enjoyed spending time with them and their families. This multi-generational photo with Uncle Phil and Great Poppa Moldy mirrors one that was taken when Josh was just a little kid. :)
We're pretty thankful to have another little boy in the family. What great memories our kids will make together!
