The kids raided the dining room furniture to create a pickup truck in the living room. Then they brought in the laptop and used Google Maps to "drive" themselves to Grandma's house in Walled Lake. They made only one mistake (accidentally took the Wixom Road exit instead of the Beck Road exit and had to retrace their steps) and successfully got themselves all the way to the parsonage in Walled Lake without help from the parents. Their ingenuity continues to make me smile!
