Easter 2015

It's becoming an annual tradition to get the kids' photos on the couch in the Hub at church on Easter. Helen made a lovely addition to the photos this year. Mom took a lot of shots. And, as per usual with the family photos, there were lots of silly poses which capture the feeling of the moment. But Mom is beginning to enjoy the goofy faces as much as the "perfect pose." The silliness more accurately captures who we really are!

And we had to add in the other Moldenhauer cousins who were there that day - Calla and Albert. They only added to the silliness. Albert was especially entertaining.

 Al finds his shoes.

 And works on untying them.

Al notices that Helen finally took her fingers out of her mouth.
 And, she's done.
Micah really enjoyed playing with the Schmidt cousins, like Lilly, Kylee, and Grace, who joined us for the Easter service and the meal afterward.
Mom wasn't sure of the exact story behind this situation but when she went out in the hallway, Henry was pushing Daddy and Helen in the wheelchair. When Daddy saw Mommy with the camera, he did his best to get away quickly (as quick as a wheelchair amateur can be).

Henry couldn't figure out why Daddy was moving away from him when he had been doing such a good job driving them around.
After that, Daddy returned the favor by assisting Henry in the egg hunt around the narthex.

One last photo shoot - of the Roe girl in her first Easter dress (thanks to Grandma Moldy for the dress).

Mom decided to do some video as well. Here was the first take, which had a less than graceful ending.
And here was the second take, in which Helen was a little more chatty.
Finally, at the end of the day, the boys got to taste the special chocolate bunnies that Miss Lori had made for them. They had been counting down to Easter after being told they had to wait until then to eat them.  We knew that a sugar rush would soon follow, so they had to wait until the festivities were over. The chocolate did not disappoint! (And neither did the sugar rush.)
