Kensington Petting Farm

Our last day of Moms and Tots class was a field trip to Kensington's petting farm. We had a great morning there with our friends!
Although Micah is the one who joined the M&T class, younger siblings were invited to join this field trip and Henry loved it! He was fascinated by the animals inside the barn, especially the baby pigs and ducks.
Mommy loved seeing her boys having fun together in their "big brother" and "little brother" shirts and matching Michigan hats (thankfully, Micah is ok with matching his brother at this stage - and Henry has no opinion yet).
Climbing seems to be the thing to do for these Roe boys (though, like a true Roe boy, Micah often gets irritated when Mommy tries to take pictures of him doing anything. "No pictures!" Grrr.)
Henry tries his best to climb just like his big brother - and he's gotten pretty good at it!
Climbing the fence to look at the animals was probably his favorite thing about our day at the petting farm.

After eating our picnic lunch, we joined our friends for some fun with the parachute.
It was a great morning! Unfortunately, by the time we got to the group picture at the end, Henry was starting his meltdown due to missing his morning nap and being ready for the afternoon nap. Still, we survived (meaning, pregnant and overheated Mommy was still -barely- sane after chasing 2 boys around all morning, making sure no one got lost, trying to keep Henry from stealing everyone's lunch or juice box, and taking two boys and a stroller into the bathroom). And then we saw, for the second time in just a few days, a special stroller with quintuplet siblings (a little younger than Henry) - suddenly, Mommy's situation didn't seem so challenging. God always seems to give us the reminders we need at the right times!
