Wedding Day

"Let's have a wedding today!" said Micah. And so we did.
"Who will get married?" Mommy asked.
"Trouser [the large dog] and Trinket [the smaller dog]." Micah decided.
"What do we need for a wedding?" Mommy asked.
"Special clothes - like a costume! And dancing." Micah declared.
So Trouser dressed up in his finest orange tie. And Trinket got a white "dress," complete with a train (an unsnapped onsie that is too small for Henry).

Micah decided the location of the wedding- just outside the bathroom door. He dressed up for the occasion as well, sporting his red tie. It was important that he looked his best - he was the officiating pastor. At the last minute, he decided he needed a green visor as well.

Finally, we were ready for the moment. Micah said to Trouser (with some prompting from Mommy),"Trouser, do you promise to love Trinket forever?" And then "Trinket, do you promise to love Trouser for ever?" They both said "I do" and Micah declared it was time for the dancing. He insisted we play our favorite dance song - "Me Without You" by Tobymac. Henry provided some musical accompaniment as well.
We had so much fun, we repeated the wedding after nap time! Uncle David and Aunt Jamie are the next scheduled wedding we will attend (in June). If you guys need any help with your wedding planning, Micah would be glad to assist or to pinch hit for the pastor, if needed!
 Congratulations, Trouser & Trinket!
