Schmidt Vacation, Day Three: Biking, Fishing, Family Photos (July 14, 2015)

Tuesday morning was our annual "Bike to Breakfast" on Schmidt Vacation. Mommy and Daddy joined the bike tour to nearby Cedarville. The kids joined up with us via the truck with Grandma and Poppa. The whole Schmidt clan didn't participate (some didn't wake up in time), but we had a nice sized crew out for our brunch.
Later, after Daddy got back to camp (he took the longer, harder route back, while Mommy took the more direct ride back to Hessel), he took the boys fishing out on the dock.

Calla joined them as well for a turn at the fishing pole.

Daddy has a lot of patience!

Later, Henry joined a boat ride with Grandma on Uncle Andy's boat while Micah went golfing with Daddy, Poppa, Uncle David, and Josh. Daddy said Micah was enjoyed walking along, finding golf balls, and hanging out with the others, even though he wasn't golfing. Meanwhile, Mom hung out in the cabin during Helen's nap and cut up broccoli for our meal the next day.
Afterward, Helen had an opportunity to play in the tent with her second cousins. First she and Emory Jane hung out.

Then Landon joined the fun.

After dinner we had our annual family photo (hoping to insert that here!). Then the great-grandkids all lined up for a group shot (or a few) with Great-Grandpa Schmidt.

Afterward, it was the bean bag (corn hole) tournament in the middle of the camp. Daddy's team didn't fare too well, so he had time to get in another round of fishing off the dock with Henry.

Success!
Apparently, the switch to the wax worms was the source of the improvement over the earlier fishing expedition.

Pet the fish before sending him back!

While the fishermen were reeling them in, Micah was playing volleyball with Grace and Kylee.

We also got in a group shot with Mommy's immediate family. This was the first time all her siblings and their spouses had all been on Schmidt vacation!
