Moldenhauer Christmas 2013

We definitely experienced a "White Christmas" this year! Our Moldenhauer family Christmas took place the afternoon of Dec 26 (when we shared gifts) and the morning of Dec 27 (when we ate our traditional Christmas ham dinner). Micah took the opportunity, while we were waiting for the present-opening, to go outside with his uncles.
As opposed to last year (when a sledding trip with the Moldy uncles ended with tears), Micah seemed to enjoy the sledding much more this year. He went down with Uncle Josh...
Uncle Ben (who was enjoying the snow immensely as he doesn't see much in Houston)...
And Uncle Davey...
Cousin Calla and Uncle Andy got in on the action as well as they made good use of the slope into the retention pond in front of St. Matthew - the perfect size for the three-year olds.
Once the party moved indoors, Micah showed Henry what to do...
Though it didn't take long for Henry to get involved in lots of present opening. With Grandma...
 And Daddy...
 And on his own.
 Calla also enjoyed this part!
Mommy had fun trying on Micah's new Texas Longhorn superhero cape.
It was a first Christmas for cousins Albert and Elijah.
Grandma received a plate with all the grandkids' hand prints.
And Poppa's special gift was a photo book entitled "How God touched our lives in 2013," with stories written by all his kids. 2013 was a blessed year indeed!
We did manage to squeeze in a photo opportunity with all the grandchildren (Calla, Elijah, Micah, Albert, and Henry) plus Grandma and Poppa... before Micah decided he was done.
Anyway, we enjoyed celebrating with all of our Moldy family together!
