Attack of the Leaf Blower - Oct 18, 2020

Some moments are significant milestones in our lives. And some moments, are just simple silly fun. When Dad gets out the leaf blower (usually on several different occasions in the Fall), the kids scamper outside, in preparation for the leaf pile he creates at the bottom of the hill.

On this day, instead of waiting for the culmination of his work into a giant pile on the other side of the driveway, the kids ran to the edge of the woods, the destination of the fallen leaves. As Daddy walked along, shooting hundreds of leaves into the air, they squealed with delight, shielding themselves from the onslaught of autumn and shrieking with laughter as bits of foliage assaulted their bodies, lodging in their hair and clothes. At the end of the day, it took effort to remove all the evidence of their embrace of the season, but they were satisfied with having faced down Daddy and his mighty leaf blower!
